Located near the beach as well as the mountains, Valencia is a city filled with activities to do outside. With its sunny Mediterranean climate , it’s the perfect place to enjoy a leisurely stroll through the park or along the beach. Malvarossa Beach has plenty of volleyball courts to choose from – bring a volleyball and gather a group to play with, or ask to join a group playing already!
Try paddle-boarding, windsurfing or kite surfing at Malvarossa Beach!
Take the train outside of the city center and go for a hike in the mountains! You can find many hiking trails around the city; one famous route is Sierra Calderona.
Turia Park (the old river of Valencia) stretches around the city center and is home to the City of Arts and Sciences. Here you’ll find people walking, biking, running, or participating in group fitness classes – it’s a great way to enjoy the scenery and escape the city!
Use the public bikes (Valenbisi) or rent one for the day (or by the hour) from one of the many vendors around the city – ride through the city, the park, or all the way to the beach!
