Can you imagine having your office in the heart of one of the city’s most vibrant celebrations? If you work in our coworking space in Valencia’s city center during July, you’ll not only be in the perfect place to be productive, but you’ll be experiencing firsthand the authentic Valencian essence: the Gran Feria de Julio.
The Gran Feria de Valencia: A month where the city transforms
Valencia vibrates to the rhythm of jazz, rock, pop and smells of gunpowder and carnations. For professionals who choose Valencia as their work base, July isn’t just another month at the office: it’s a total immersion in Mediterranean culture thanks to the Gran Feria de Valencia. Keep reading, we’ll tell you everything about this summer festival!
Networking with Mediterranean flavor
Los Conciertos de Viveros becomes the perfect opportunity to network in a completely different way. From July 1st to 25th, Valencia is filled with live music, creating a unique atmosphere where you can combine work and leisure. Here’s the complete schedule: https://conciertosdeviverosvlc.com/
La Gran Nit de Juliol is especially relevant for those working downtown. On Saturday, July 19th, you have an essential date with musical performances at different points throughout the city, and free museum entry until dawn. Take advantage of this day of free access to increase your cultural knowledge of the city!
Beyond music
Not all activities are musical! If you enjoy sunsets at Albufera, they organize free shuttle buses to go see the best sunset in all of Valencia.
Storytelling, children’s and youth workshops, monologues, pyrotechnic shows… the list is endless and there’s something for everyone, so we’ll share the program here so you can take a look and choose the best plan: with family, friends, or solo! https://granferiavalencia.com/programa/
The grand finale: The Battle of Flowers
One of the most impressive moments (if not the most) of the Gran Feria you can experience on Sunday, July 27th starting at 8:00PM on Paseo de la Alameda: the Battle of Flowers. This traditional parade is the culmination of Valencia’s festive month. More than one million carnations are thrown between the participants on the floral floats and the public.
The parade consists of 40 themed floats decorated with carnations the night before (in the traditional punxà). On them will parade girls and women preselected to be part of the honor courts of Valencia’s falleras mayores and representatives of the fallas sector.
Color and culture come together in a parade you absolutely must not miss, and from the coworking space you’ll be just steps away!
